Friendship is Magic Staffed with Animation Veterans
“My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” has had and has talent from many other popular animated series, including, but not limited to, the following:
Hundreds of thousands of viewers of all ages tuned into the Hub on Saturday, November 10th to watch the season premiere of the latest incarnation of “My Little Pony.”
“My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” is the latest version of the popular show. However, “Friendship is Magic” has gained a large following of adult fans of all ages, in addition to its primary audience of young girls.
According to a press release from Discovery Networks, which owns the Hub, the two-part series premiere, was the highest-ever for the animated series, with over 320 thousand children between the ages of 2 and 11. In addition, over 140 thousand adults from 18 to 49 watched “The Crystal Empire.”
The series, which premiered in 2010, saw “growth in all key demographics” according to the release.
Also, “Littlest Pet Shop,” which has some writers and voice actors from “Friendship is Magic” scored high numbers with its series premiere.
Both animated series air Saturdays on the Hub Network.
