World's Largest McDonald’s Being Built

McDonald's is building an Olympic-sized restaurant in London.

The world's largest Mickey D's is being built for the London Olympics, according to the Daily Mail.

It will only be open during this year's summer games, which start in July.

The restaurant will be about half the length of a football field, will have two-thousand employees, and can seat 15-hundred people.

McDonald's has been a top sponsor at the Olympics for years.

My goodness...the largest McDonalds will be built in London. It will have two thousand employees. Some people are correct, this is terrible. It should be the largest Taco Bell...HAHAHA...I still can't get over those clowns in California trying to get the toy out of the kids meal. No one is forcing people to go to these types of restaurants. It's all about choice, freedom to go and eat where you want. Some would love to see these kinds of restaurants close their doors, guess they don't believe in free enterprise. Some people really crack me up......Good luck McDonalds, hope you make milions.

For an event like the Olympics where health and fitness is celebrated in a place like London, which is known for its rich history, elegance, and graceful architecture, we're going to plop one the most toxic symbols of american compulsion, greed, and obesity How proud I am.

If you have ever eaten British food you would probably want to eat at Mickey D's seven days a week while at the Olympics.

All that wasted money. They would be better off to spend it to improve their french fries, like Burger King did, which are tastier than McD's.

My question is why would they go to the expense of building something like this when it will only be open for the Olympic games. My guess would have to be that the owner has so much money that they dont know what to do with it other than build a restaurant that is going to be used for 2 weeks and then who knows what will happen to it.

Larry: its because they can build a restaurant on the ultra-cheap and probably make millions of dollars. Think of how many people will pass through to order some fries or a burger. Thousands and thousands!
