White House: Proposed Clean Fuel Standards Would Save Thousands

The Obama administration is unveiling new rules to cut gasoline emissions.

The Environmental Protection Agency's 'Tier 3 Standards' would reduce sulfur in gas more than 60 percent and reduce nitrogen oxides by 80 percent.

The White House says the changes would lower pollution, cut billions in health care costs and save up to 2,400 lives a year.

The EPA says it will cost less than a penny a gallon to adopt the new standards.
