A new contender on Jeopardy blew away two of the show's all-time top champions this week.

IBM unveiled its newest supercomputer, “Watson”, at a trial Jeopardy match.

Watson is a black rectangle with an image of a globe where his head would be.

He faced off against Jeopardy champs Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter, overseen by Alex Trebek of course.

Watson didn't answer any of the questions incorrectly and took home more than $4,000.

IBM has been working on Watson for several years now. He's meant to understand language the way we humans do, which means picking up on irony and subtleties.
