World leaders are watching for a possible diplomatic breakthrough when Iran's president speaks to the United Nation's next week.
The new leader has exchanged letters with President Obama indicating the country may be willing to negotiate over its nuclear program.
An Iranian official says the President promised relief from sanctions if the country showed a willingness to cooperate.
But Israel's government says the world shouldn't be fooled.
"What we heard from the Iranian leadership is unfortunately just sugar-colored words - words designed to deceive," said Mark Regev.
The two presidents could meet face-to-face at the UN General Assembly in New York next week.
