Two Tornadoes Touch Down Near Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday


Severe weather blew through parts of North Carolina over the weekend.

The National Weather Service confirmed at least two tornadoes touched down near Raleigh Saturday night.

The agency clocked wind speeds on a tornado in Willow Spring at up to 85 miles per hour.

It uprooted trees and caused minor damage to some property.

No one was injured.

The other tornado touched down in garner and damaged at least one home.
