Famed Author Remembered


Famed military author Tom Clancy has died at the age of 66.

Clancy’s novel, “The Hunt for Red October” propelled him to fame. He published 28 booked during his career, including a new novel that has not yet been released.

17 of his books were New York Times Best Sellers, many of those even reached the number one spot.

Several of Clancy’s books were made into movies, including “The Hunt for Red October”, Patriot Games” and “The Sum of All Fears”. Several of Clancy’s writings also provided inspiration for video games named “Rainbow 6”, Ghost Recon” and “Splinter Cell”.

Clancy’s new novel “Command Authority” is scheduled for publication in December.
