If you want to avoid exposure to tobacco smoke, new research suggests you choose hotels that ban smoking altogether rather than go to ones which have designated non-smoking rooms.
Researchers in California found air levels of tobacco smoke pollution were seven times higher in non-smoking rooms of hotels that had partial smoking bans than in hotels that banned smoking completely.
