Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen announced the culmination of a two month investigation by the Special Investigations Division with the arrest of a third suspect Wendy Miller in a narcotics case that removed over two thousand prescription pills from the streets of Bay County.
On January 7, 2011, information gathered in the investigation was used to obtain a search warrant for a residence at 5004 Merritt Brown Drive.
Living in the home at the time was Wendy and Anthony Miller and Somchai “Bobby” Miller.
As a result of the search warrant over two thousand prescription pills were seized and one firearm.
Among this assortment of pills were trafficking amounts of morphine, hydrocodone, and oxycodone.
Arrested at the time of the search warrant was Anthony Miller, DOB 11/10/89, of 5004 Merritt Brown Drive, on charges of trafficking in oxycodone, trafficking in hydrocodone, trafficking in morphine, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; and Somchai “bobby” Miller, DOB 10/18/71, of 5004 Merritt Brown Drive, on charges of trafficking in hydrocodone, trafficking in oxycodone, trafficking in morphine, Possession of Methadone With Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Marijuana within a 1000 feet of a School.
On January 21, 2011, the investigation wrapped up with the location and arrest of the third suspect Wendy Miller, DOB 4/6/73, of 5004 Merritt Brown Drive, on charges of Possession of Alprazolam, Possession of Controlled Substance (Loritab), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
