A high school student in South Carolina was arrested Monday morning after police discovered a stockpile of weapons in the 17-year-old's car.
Police in Easley, South Carolina said a student alerted a faculty member about the weapons.
Inside a car parked on campus, officials found a loaded 22 caliber handgun, more than 200 rounds of ammunition, two axes, handcuffs, a stun gun and knives.
17-year-old Hunter Green was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm on school property.
school officials say the loaded gun was left in the vehicle after hunting or recreation.
They say there was no indication of a threat to the school.
Green has been recommended to be expelled from Easley High School for at least one year.
