DAWSONVILLE, Ga. (AP) - A small plane that lost power has landed safely on a highway in Dawsonville.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen told WSB-TV that the accident happened Sunday when a small plane
reported losing power.
The aircraft landed on Georgia 400, then slid into a grassy median. No injuries were reported.
Bergen said FAA investigators are heading to the scene to determine what happened.
Witness Patti Adams told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that although there was traffic, the plane did not hit any cars.
