WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) - Police in northern Virginia say at least one shot was fired overnight at a Coast Guard recruiting station, the latest case of someone shooting at military-related buildings in the Washington area.

Prince William County police say they're investigating minor damage at the building.

Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Chinn said Tuesday it appears the
shooting occurred overnight.

She says it seems similar to other recent shootings, though they won't know for sure until evidence is processed at a lab.

The FBI's Washington Field Office is investigating.

In four separate incidents last month, shots were fired at a Washington-area Marine Corps museum, the Pentagon and a Marine Corps recruiting station.

No injuries were reported in any of the shootings.
