The saying goes that marriage is like a marathon.

One man decided to seize the moment after running the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon Sunday.

CJ Wise got down on one knee and proposed to girlfriend Elizabeth Daves after they crossed the finish line.

Wise ran the 26.2 miles with the ring in his pocket.

Once Daves got over the initial shock, she said "yes."

The couple have been dating for more than a year.

This was their third marathon together.
