Northwest Ala. Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

ANDERSON, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a Lexington man is dead after his motorcycle hit a vehicle head-on on Alabama 207.

Officials say 25-year-old Brandon Chase Springer died at the scene of the accident Friday afternoon near Anderson in northwest Alabama.

Authorities say Springer was driving southbound on the highway when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a car driven by 81-year-old Ella Hamner of Rogersville.

Hamner was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and is in
good condition.

Authorities say Springer was an inexperienced motorcycle driver.
