State records obtained by the AJC for about a dozen of the governor's staff or appointees show that almost all received more than $10,000 a year raises in their new positions and that all but one of the staffers will earn more than $100,000 a year.
Combined, the dozen staffers made $1.3 million in their previous jobs and are making or will make about $1.7 million in their new positions.
But Perdue officials say many of those who took the new jobs are making less than their predecessors in those positions.
