The National Rifle Association convention wrapped up Sunday in Houston, Texas.
Thousands of gun rights supporters attended the event, while protestors gathered outside.
As the names of gun violence victims were read aloud, the daughter of the principal killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., said she's determined to put a face to those names.
"To not let my mom just be another name that is being read on that list of people who have been murdered violently with guns," Erica Lafferty said.
Conservative icons like Governor Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, Ted Nugent and Glenn Beck highlighted the convention.
