NFL & Concussions

The U.S. Army and the National Football League held a joint panel discussion at the United States Military Academy in West Point.

The topic: head injuries.

The panel is focusing specifically on troops and athletes who suffer these injuries.

The NFL has made a push in recent years to decrease concussions in the sport.

Hundreds of former pro football players are plaintiffs in dozens of lawsuits against the league, saying the NFL was aware of brain injury risks to players, and didn't share that information.

The NFL says there's no merit to those allegations.
