Most Hybrid Owners Don't Buy Hybrid Again

A new report finds one hybrid seems to be enough for most car buyers.

According to a study by auto information company R.L Polk & Company only 35 percent of consumers who have purchased a hybrid buy another one.

That's despite the greater variety of hybrid cars on the market.

The report also found that hybrid vehicles make up only two-point-four percent of the new vehicle market as of 2011 -- down from two-point-nine percent in 2008.
