It's a new twist on beauty pageants.
More than 50 people donned superhero costumes in metropolis, Illinois, for the annual superman celebration.
They paraded in front of the judges, competing in six categories, including best Clark Kent and best villain.
The grand prize winner collected one-thousand dollars.
