McCain to Visit Fla. for son's winging ceremony

The Arizona senator is also scheduled to speak at the Friday event at Whiting Field Naval Air Station. McCain served in the Navy for 22 years and was a prisoner of war in Vietnam.

His son, Ensign McCain, is one of about 16 graduates who will receive their "Wings of Gold" for helicopter training.

The ceremony is closed to the public.
