Liz Taylor Remains Hospitalized for Heart Failure

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Elizabeth Taylor's spokeswoman says the
Oscar-winning actress is likely to spend another few days in a Los
Angeles hospital while being treated for congestive heart failure.

Sally Morrison said Sunday that Taylor is resting comfortably and is receiving family and friends in her room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The 78-year-old Taylor was admitted late last week for treatment
of her heart condition. Morrison didn't know how long Taylor would
be in the hospital but said if past treatments are any indication it could be for several more days.

Taylor first disclosed in 2004 that she suffered from congestive heart failure. The condition was compounded with other ailments including spinal fractures and the effects of scoliosis.

Taylor won Oscars for her performances in "Butterfield 8" and
"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
