Jury selection starts Monday in the murder trial of Drew Peterson.
The former Chicago-area police officer is accused of killing his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004; Peterson is also the leading suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, in 2007.
The intrigue surrounding the case prompted the Lifetime movie, "Drew Peterson: Untouchable," which set a ratings record for the channel.
Defense attorney Joel Brodsky told CNN's sister network, In Session, he expects the trial to last about a month.
Opening statements are scheduled for next week.
