Jet Lands Safely in Boston After Lightning Strike

Massachusetts Port Authority spokeswoman Lisa Langone says JetBlue Flight 446 landed just after 9:20 p.m. Friday.

She says the pilots reported smelling smoke in the cockpit.

The plane departed Tampa at around 6:30 p.m. and landed on time.

Langone says no one was injured.

JetBlue Airways Corp. is based in Forest Hills, N.Y.
