Indiana Tornado Caught on Tape

In eastern Hendricks County, a tornado ripped up trees, left power lines down, and damaged more than a dozen homes in the area.

No one was hurt.

One home sustained major damage, when the tornado ripped off the roof and threw an RV from a neighboring home into the front of it.

Storm chaser Andrew Newcomb captured the tornado as it touched down near Perry Road and US-40 in Plainfield IN. Debris from destroyed trees and homes was visible as it was swirled around by the powerful winds.
