ANCHORAGE (AP) -They were "freezin' for a reason" in Anchorage, Alaska, Saturday.
About 800 people braved temperatures just below zero to jump into an icy lake to help raise money for Special Olympics.
The annual Polar Plunge helps raise money to support the athletes.
One woman who jumped into the 31-degree temperature lake says it was much colder than she'd expected.
Emergency medical personnel were on hand, but organizers say everyone made it through the plunge unscathed.
