Halliburton Energy Services pleaded guilty to destroying evidence after the BP oil spill.

The company agreed to pay a $20,000 fine.

Halliburton was BP’s cement contractor for the Deepwater Horizon.

The company also agreed to make a $55 million contribution to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, however, that payment wasn't a condition of the plea deal.
