The turtles were cleaned by crews at Gulf World Marine Park.

The animals are smaller than 10 inches.

They were from waters near Destin and Orange Beach, Ala.

Gulf World workers have treated more than 140 turtles.

Rough waters and low food supply for the green turtles kept them from
being set loose.

A spokeswoman for the facility says she hopes to get approval to take the turtles back out again next week.
