750 workers will be rehired for a new third shift at a Michigan assembly plant. The company says demand is growing for heavy-duty pick-ups.
Last month, Ford announced it will rehire 7,000 workers by the end of next year.
Meanwhile, for the first time in GM’s history, sales were higher in China than the U.S. Sales in China rose nearly 29 percent last year compared to a 6 percent increase in the U.S. Sales in Brazil were also strong, up 10 percent.
