Fla. Woman Arrested After Road Rage Incident

OLDSMAR, Fla. (AP) -- A woman was arrested after deputies say she attacked another driver in an apparent road rage incident in Oldsmar.

Pinellas County Sheriff's spokeswoman Cecilia Barreda says the incident began Tuesday when 29-year-old Therese O'Neill cut in front of a car driven by 31-year-old Bonnie Coleman.

Deputies say Coleman then rammed O'Neill's vehicle.

When they stopped at a red light, Coleman tried to push the woman's vehicle into the intersection. O'Neill then backed her car into Coleman's and ran the light to try to get away. But Coleman followed her and the two women eventually got out of their cars and started fighting.

The Tampa Bay Times reports Coleman punched O'Neill and another woman who stopped to help.

Coleman was taken to jail. Jail records don't list an attorney.

Those two women don't know a thing about road rage.If I would have wanted her car into the intersection, I would have knocked her into it instead of trying to push her in to it. Rage is something that is instant, not something you get around to it.This wasn't road rage this was something eles.

I am ashamed of this action. That person should be as well. So what if she pulls in front of you just go about your business. I can not believe two grow women got out to fight in the street. When people show road rage it isn't about the one who cut a person off it is about whats going on in her head! She had deep seeded anger at something else. I will say that other woman should have used he manners and not cut in,thats rude and ignorant. But thats it. Not enough to go to fighting about. My opinion, whats yours? Jessi
