Fewer Minorities Than Expected Sign Up for Obamacare

New federal data shows fewer minorities signed up for health care under the Affordable Care Act than expected.

The numbers reveal 63-percent of Americans who did sign up are white.

16.7 percent are black, 10.7 percent are Latino and nearly 8-percent are Asian.

At least 31-percent of those enrolling did not report their race or ethnicity or chose "other."

The data also shows some 8 million people enrolled between October and March.
