The popular social media network, Facebook, experienced another service disruption on Sunday morning, leaving users with blank feeds after they logged in.
Just before 8:40am, News 4 This Morning's producer noticed that his Facebook feed was coming up blank. It was confirmed that this problem was being experienced in other areas. On Twitter, Dragoon in North Carolina reported their Facebook was down at 8:43. Sean in Ireland was also experiencing an outage at 8:44am. Tywana said she saw a “Network Error” message at the top of her Facebook page at 8:56am.
It was back online just after 9:15am for most across the world.
However, not everyone was sad to see the social network down. On Twitter, Foal Papers responded to the outage, saying, “Glory, Glory, hallelujah.”
