Columbus Police Say Gunman Robbed Woman at Home

COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) -- Police in Columbus are seeking a gunman who robbed a woman at her home in broad daylight.

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports the 21-year-old woman told police she briefly left her home near the Columbus Metropolitan Airport and returned to get something she had forgotten when she was robbed. The woman said a man armed with a revolver forced his way into her home through a rear window.

She told police the gunman robbed her at gunpoint before fleeing the area on foot. Police say the robbery happened at about 2:35 p.m. on Friday. No arrests have been reported.
