A high-speed police chase in Los Angeles ended in a fiery crash.
Police say they were pursuing a suspected drunk driver Wednesday night with speeds reaching more than 100 miles an hour.
The car skidded out of control, slammed into a guardrail and burst into flames in the Boyle Heights section of L-A.
Police pulled extinguished the flames and pulled the suspect out, and he was rushed to the hospital.
Authorities have not released his name or condition.
The California Highway Patrol will investigate the crash, while the L-A-P-D will handle the criminal investigation.
