It's a song synonymous with military funerals...
Saturday marks the 150th anniversary of "Taps", the National Song of Remembrance.
Hundreds of buglers will gather at Arlington National Cemetery to play "Taps" in honor of the occasion.
In today's military, "Taps" is used as the regulation call for extinguished lights at the end of the day and it's also used at military funerals, wreath-laying ceremonies and memorial services.
At Arlington National Cemetery, "Taps" is heard about 30 times every day
The song was originally composed in 1862 during the Civil War.
