Newt Gingrich wasn't the only one campaigning on lower gas price promises.
A democratic gubernatorial candidate in Indiana is doing the same.
John Gregg unveiled his plan yesterday in Indianapolis.
He promises to repeal the state's gas tax, which is at seven percent per gallon.
Indiana has eliminated that tax before.
In 2000, then Governor Frank O'bannon repealed the tax for three months to help give drivers a little relief.
If it's repealed again, it could set a precedent for other states.
