Two drunken Welshmen have been fined for stealing a penguin from an Australian theme park.
"Dirk" the fairy penguin is now safe and sound at his home on the gold coast, but it's been an eventful weekend.
Dirk was snatched from his enclosure by two Welsh tourists - aged 20 and 21 - during a drunken night out.
But the pair were caught the next day after dumping the penguin in a nearby waterway.
A magistrate fined them both one-thousand dollars and said it's lucky they didn't drunkenly stumble into the polar bear enclosure instead.
