Americans Cut Back on Credit Cards


Americans cut their credit card use in April as they worry about a slowdown in hiring.

The Federal Reserve says consumers increased borrowing $6.5 billion in April, about half what they borrowed the previous month.

Much of that was to take out loans for college and cars.
