Snow continues to fall this morning, making Colorado look more like January than the end of April.
Snowy weather will stick around through the morning hours in across the Front Range, with gradual tapering as the morning progresses. By noon, expect very light flurries if there is still any snow.
The foothills and areas south of Denver will see snow through the afternoon before it tapers off in the evening.
Driving along I-70 towards Kansas is going to be messy and tough during the morning, make sure you’re checking for any road closures. Any remaining advisories expire at 9:00 am or noon today as we’re not expecting anymore major accumulations.
Temperatures today will be very chilly, we’ll barely get above freezing east of the Continental Divide. For those of you wanting the sunshine and warmer weather, it will return by Thursday when we get back to the 60s. Wednesday will be warmer, but still below average. The rest of the week should be warm and sunny, and by the weekend we’re looking at the upper 60s and low 70s.
Stay warm, and drive carefully. Roads this morning are snow packed and icy in many areas.
