A bronze surfer statue in Cardiff-By-The-Sea, Calif., has been the target of many gags so many times that locals now call it "The Cardiff Kook." But none of the gags have ever been this big. Check it out.
On Saturday, unknown pranksters surrounded the statue with a 16-foot papier mache model of a great white shark that appeared to be swallowing it whole.
No criminal report was filed, however, because the $120,000 statue wasn't damaged.
