City council members in Fremont, Neb., have approved a resolution banning hiring and renting property to illegal immigrants.

Earlier in the year, voters approved the resolution.

Opponents say they're deeply disappointed in their town and elected officials for approving the ban.

Supporters say it's about time city leaders listened to what the people want.

ACLU Nebraska says it will file suit against the ordinance.

That's expected to happen next week.

I personally back both Arizona and Nebraska in their immigration laws. I have no problem with legal immigrants renting homes, getting jobs or driving on our roads. The AMERICAN Civil Liberties Union, should be protecting AMERICANS and not illegal immigrants. Hispanic people in this country are truly only mad about these laws because it prevents their illegal relatives from staying here.If American people of Hispanic descent cant see that this is a law to protect them and their fellow Americans then they are the ones who are racist. These are laws and if they are here illegally, they are breaking the law and should be detained,punished,and/or deported appropriately.

The Federal Government has failed miserably in that it is Not Securing the Southern U.S.Border. The Government seems to be more concerned about VOTES than it does the Safety of it's Citizens. The majority of Citizens want the Boarders Secured and Illegal Immigration Stopped! Then find a solution to the millions of illegals already here.
