In New Mexico, a gunman opened fire at an Albuquerque building where he used to work, killing two people before turning the gun on himself.
Swat teams raced to an Albuquerque fiber optics manufacturer after a former employee started shooting. Authorities say the 37-year-old gunman killed at least two people and wounded several others before taking his own life.
The gunman has been identified as Robert Reza. Police say his live-in girlfriend worked for the company. She was shot during a confrontation outside the building and is in critical condition.
Police choppers and swat teams locked down the neighborhood, but authorities now believe the gunman acted alone.
