Poll: Obama's job approval drops with Florida voters

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Democratic President Barack Obama and
Florida's Republican governor, Charlie Crist, have at least one
thing in common.

A new poll released Tuesday shows that both have seen their job
approval standing in Florida decline as the state and nation try to
climb out of the recession.

For the first time since his election, President Obama faces more Florida voters who disapprove of his performance than approve, 49 percent to 45 percent.

Crist, meanwhile, has a 50 percent job approval, but that's down
9 percentage points from October.

Thirty-eight percent said they disapprove of Crist's performance.

Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,618 Floridians last week.

The poll's margin of error is plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.
