ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) - The Federal Aviation Administration says a
small plane crashed as it approached the Cleveland area from
Gainesville, Fla., killing three people.

FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory the four-passenger plane
was approaching the Lorain County Regional Airport in Elyria
shortly after 2 p.m. Monday when it crashed.

Isham Cory says the FAA is investigating and the National
Transportation Safety Board will lead the inquiry.

An FAA database shows that the multiengine turboprop plane is
owned by Mitts Corp. of Gainesville.
