She may be young, but 6-year-old Lori Anne Madison can spell with the best of them!
And she will in this week's Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Madison is the youngest speller to ever be eligible to compete in the contest.
The little girl is home-schooled and beat out 21 other kids in her Virginia county to advance to the national spelling bee.
She'll be competing against 277 other kids in the contest this Wednesday and Thursday.
The winner will get a variety of prizes, including a 30-thousand-dollar cash prize and an engraved trophy.
