ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Police in northern Georgia have charged two men and a teenage boy in the death of a 76-year-old father of 10 who was shot during a burglary on Nov. 26.
The Athens Banner-Herald Tuesday reported 22-year-old Oneal Baughns and 30-year-old Dwayne Tavares Myers have been arrested in the shooting death of Edward Davidson. A 16-year-old boy has also been arrested. The Associated Press does not identify juvenile crime suspects.
Police say Baughns was arrested on a theft charge before being identified as a suspect. He was out on bond at the time of the incident. Authorities say Myers was arrested last week as a suspect in an earlier burglary that was similar to the incident in which Davidson was killed.
It is not known whether the suspects have lawyers.
