Hurricane Earl Prompts Evacuations in N.C.

Evacuations have already began in North Carolina due to Hurricane Earl.

About 5,000 tourists have been ordered to leave Ocracoke Island.

Earl whipped across the Caribbean Tuesday with winds up to 135 mph. It’s still unclear if it will make landfall in the U.S.
