Encouraging signs can be seen along the Gulf Coast but BP could soon face another weather-related delay. There's a possibility that remnants of tropical depression number five could drift back into the Gulf.
Last week, the system washed oil onto the beaches of Gulf Shores, and now there's about a 20 percent chance that it could actually pull back over the Gulf of Mexico and possibly strengthen.
If that happens, it could cause more delays in relief wells and BP's bottom kill procedure.
This weekend National Incident \Ccommander, Thad Allen, said the plan is to finish drilling the relief wells and complete the bottom kill procedure after it's determined that pressure inside the well is favorable.
However, if tropical depression five reforms, that plan could be pushed to the end of the week.
