Iconic Statue Raised in Rememberance of the End of World War ll

Known to many simply as "The Kiss," an iconic V-J Day smooch is now being remembered in Times Square.

A 26-foot statue of a sailor kissing a nurse was installed in New York City.

It's a re-creation of that famous Life Magazine photo that became a symbol of the celebration of the end of World War Two.

The Times Square Alliance is hosting a mass reenactment of the kiss on Saturday, August 14, the anniversary of the end of World War II.
