Defense Secretary Proposes Cut Backs at Pentagon


It appears tough economic times are even hitting the Pentagon.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates has proposed closing a major command employing some five-thousand people in Norfolk, Va. He hopes to find $100 billion in cuts over five years, but Congress is expected to challenge some of those cut-backs.
