Since so little oil is floating in the Gulf, BP has had nothing to recover for more than a week, and that's not good news for local captains and fishermen.
At its peak, 7,000 boats were on the oil company's payroll, but with the well sealed BP is laying off thousands.
The newest anxiety in the gulf is if the people there will be forgotten. BP officials say they have a commitment to be there, that they're responsible and will be held accountable. Residents, however, want the company to show them that they can be trusted to keep their word.
